West Midlands Police have made a further 6 arrests across the West Midlands today as part of Operation Intrusive, a crack down on burglary and related offences, such as  drug dealing.

This is the fourth day over the last 11 days that officers have served several simultaneous warrants across the area.

After the first 3 days of warrants, 33 arrests were made – 15 of those were within the Northfield constituency area. Todays arrests bring the total to 39 arrests as a result of 30 warrants.

Arrests so far in the local area as part of Operation Intrusive, newest at the top (outcome is shown if known):

  • 34 year old man at Kingsbridge Road, Bartley Green. Arrested Tuesday 18th June on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. Suspected cannabis was seized for analysis along with a crossbow and several mobile phones.
  • 37 year old man at Barretts Road, Hawkesley Arrested on Tuesday 18th June on suspicion of conspiring to to supply class A drugs. Drug paraphernalia and mobile phones were also seized for further analysis.
  • 38 year old man  and 42 year old man from separate addresses in Bushwood Road, Woeley.  Arrested on Tuesday 18th June on suspicion of conspiring to burgle. Items seized from these addresses include clothing, mobile phones, various SIM cards and counterfeit DVDs.
  • 48 year old man at Redditch Road, Kings Norton. Arrested on Thursday 13th June on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Released on bail pending further enquiries.
  • 45 year old man at Redditch Road, Kings Norton. Arrested on Thursday 13th June on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. Released without charge.
  • 31 year old woman at Brightstone Road, Frankley. Arrested on Thursday 13th June on  suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs. Suspected heroin and crack cocaine was recovered by officers. Magistrates court today (14th June)
  • 43 year old man at Brightstone Road, Frankley. Arrested on Thursday 13th June on  suspicion of possessing a class A drug (crack cocaine). Cautioned for possession of class A drugs.
  • 40 year old woman at Brightstone Road, Frankley. Arrested on Thursday 13th June on  suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs. Magistrates court today (14th June)
  • 39 year old man at Brightstone Road, Frankley. Arrested on Thursday 13th June on  suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs. Magistrates court today (14th June)
  • 34 year old man from Ashill Road, Rednal.  Arrested on Thursday 13th June on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs. Magistrates court today (14th June)
  • 28 year old man from Longbridge. Arrested Tuesday 11th June. Questioned by detectives over the supply of drugs.
  • 24 year old man from Frankley. Arrested Tuesday 11th June. Questioned by detectives over the supply of drugs.
  • 21 year old man from West Heath. Arrested on Tuesday 11th June on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
  • 37 year old man from Longbridge. Arrested Thursday 6th June & charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and conspiracy to handle stolen property. He was remanded in custody at court.
  • 33 year old man from Longbridge.  Arrested Thursday 6th June & charged with conspiracy to handle stolen property. Bailed.
  • 24 year old man from Rubery. Arrested Thursday 6th June & charged with conspiracy to handle stolen property. Bailed.
  • 27 year old man from Northfield. Arrested Thursday 6th June & charged with conspiracy to handle stolen property. Bailed.
  • 48 year old man from Northfield. Arrested Thursday 6th June & charged with conspiracy to handle stolen property. Bailed.
