Foot fetish; the walking boot orgy

Dig out your walking boots (or sensible shoes!) and join in this year’s Bournville Estates Charity Walk this Sunday (12th May)

The 7.5 mile route takes in all of Bournville Village Trust’s South West Birmingham estate and Manor Farm Park.

Residents have chosen Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice as the beneficiary for the 2013 walk.

Bournville, Weoley Hill and Shenley Councils, Friends of Manor Farm Park, Bournville Seascouts and BVT are this year being joined by Bournville Model Yacht & Powerboat Club to organise and run the event – a great example of community groups coming together to promote inclusivity and engagement.

Entry is via the Entry Booklet which costs £2 per person and is available from Bournville Area Office and Shenley Court Hall, or from the checkpoints on the day.

Additional fundraising can be donated via: www.justgiving.com/Bournville-Estates-Charity-Walk

This years walk also includes a Fancy Dress Competition for under 16s – entry forms and photo stop at the Bournville Green checkpoint.

Last year 200 people took part, raising close to £2000 for Acorns Childrens Hospice (despite the horrible weather!).

Organisers hope to do even better this year so, grab your friends, family and boots and join in – a great excuse to enjoy the area, get some exercise and raise money for a very good cause!

  1. I am really concerned about those who are affected by the EVIL BEDROOM TAX in this area.
FOR those about to be evicted because to pay it would mean they would be without FOOD.
I would like to see people walking for those people also.
Especially I’d like to see those people who voted for the BEDROOM TAX, to do the charity walk for them.
THAT’S what I would like to see, and support.
