Two walks are planned for the Bank Holiday weekend around Frankley – discover more about your local area!

Friday 3rd May 8.30pm. Tonight sees the return of the Friends of Balaam’s Wood Bat Walk. Walk through the woodland and by the Great Park balancing lake on a bat spotting walk. Meet at Arden Road shops car park. Bring a torch! We went on this walk last year and were amazed at how many bats we saw!

Monday 6th May 11am Local Explorer Walk. Join this family friendly guided walk with Northfield Constituency Environmental Forum and Lickey Rangers. Meet at Balaam’s Wood (Rubery Lane entrance) for a bluebell ramble to Waseley Hills Country Park.

Both walks are suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
