These groups bring local people together into a team, to meet regularly and plan their own events and fundraising initiatives to raise money for the Hospice.
Not only do local groups help raise vital funds for the Hospice, they are great fun to be involved with and give members a chance to develop skills and build strong relationships with other groups in the community. The current groups are fantastically committed, with some of them raising up to £10,000 a year.
An information evening will be held at St Nicholas Place, on Monday 15th April at 6.30pm – where people can come and find out more about what being a group member entails, with no commitment.
Come along and find out how you can make a big difference in your local community!
