Did you know that you now have the opportunity to shape the way local health and social care services are run?
As a result of legislative changes that came in to effect on 1 April, a Local Healthwatch has now been set up in every city and county council across the country. Its aim is to enlist local people to ensure each area receives the best possible health and social care service.
Healthcare Communities Involved are looking to sign up as many local community groups and individuals as possible to Local Healthwatch. As part of Local Healthwatch you’ll be able to make sure local services are held to account and input in to what they offer to the local community.
There are a number of ways to get involved and a workshop is being held on 25 April where you can find out more.
