A former Bournville College student has made it through the blind auditions round of BBC singing talent show The Voice.
LB Robinson, 32, who lives in Bearwood, took a chance by singing the Tom Jones hit “She’s a Lady.” And his gamble paid off as Sir Tom was impressed enough to press his button and spin his chair. As part of Team Tom, LB will be mentored through the next rounds by the Welsh icon.
LB previously attended Bournville College and Birmingham College of Food. After working as a volunteer helping Birmingham’s young homeless, he is now a tutor at a learning centre in the city.
