They are actively seeking volunteers of any age to join the group to support where possible their calendar of planned activities (such as Organised Guided Walks, Conservation Work Parties, Geological Work, Public Awareness Events).
The group’s work although pretty much ‘unsung’ is vital to ensure this area’s unique heritage has the future it deserves.
The Lickey Hills are a beautiful and diverse range of heathland uplands containing some of the most ancient rocks in the Midlands and boasting a rare LNR (Local Nature Reserve) site at the Rubery end of the hills.
