Thanks to a new partnership between Birmingham City Council’s Be Active Outdoors scheme and Walkers Heath Park, mums and dads are being offered the opportunity to get fit for free with Buggyfit.
Buggyfit have a network of classes throughout the UK, allowing parents and carers the opportunity to exercise in the great outdoors alongside their babies and toddlers, who participate from the comfort of their buggy. The classes are taught by expert trainers who specialise in post natal fitness. Any type of buggy is welcome and it doesn’t matter if you’re super fit or haven’t exercised for years; Buggyfit will tailor classes to your individual ability.
Show up and get fit for free alongside like-minded people, every Tuesday starting from 12th March, from 12.45-1.45. Meet at the Walkers Heath allotments off Druids Lane, and refreshments are available afterwards at the Dell Meadow Centre.
For further information about these sessions please contact Buggyfit trainer Sarah Robertson on 07913773379, or Leanne Youngson (Friends of Walkers Heath Park) on 07814394149.
