West Midlands Police have released an appeal following the tragic discovery of two bodies at a Frankley home this morning.
An ambulance crew attended the address after a report that the man and woman, believed to be in their 30s, were unconscious in the bedroom of their home in Miranda Close.
Police were alerted at around 10am and both were pronounced dead at the scene. The inquiry is at a very early stage and, at present, the deaths are being treated as unexplained. Officers are supporting the next of kin.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jones, from force CID, said: “There is no obvious sign of major trauma and we await the outcome of the post mortem to determine the cause of death.”
Forensics experts are examining the scene.
