A pedestrian was injured when he was in a collision with a car close to Longbridge Station this lunchtime.

West Midlands Ambulance Service told us on twitter: “Ambulance sent to reports of a man of approx. 20 in collision with a car near the Railway Station, Longbridge Lane at 12.15pm

“Initial reports said he was in the middle of the road. He was assessed by the ambulance crew – had head, knee and back pains.

“He was immobilised using neck collar and spinal board and taken at normal road speed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
