Toddlers from the local Messy Monkeys childminding group visited Longbridge Police Station last week.
Six youngsters, aged between 2-4 years old, met with local officers to learn more about the emergency services.
They learned the basics of dialling 999, how to recognise officers in the street and how the team works to keep people safe.
During the hour long visit, each of the children also got to try on several police uniforms, sit in several police vehicles and meet all of the officers at the station.
Sergeant Karl Pierpoint said: “It was great to see such young faces enjoying their visit to our station and learning about the police service.
“Although the youngsters were very young, they were able to learn the importance of our 999 number and also how to recognise us if they ever needed our help. Hopefully, by speaking to the youngsters at this age, they will understand that we are here to help, whether now or in the future.”
