The Jan Foundation is a Selly Oak based charity supporting women and tackling domestic violence in south west Birmingham.
Part of their focus is to enable the community to help tackle the issue, as domestic violence affects the whole community. To this end, they provide free training in mentorship and domestic violence, in the hope of attracting more community volunteers.
Courses take place over 5 days, usually once a week.
Two new training courses are coming up:
Saturdays. 9.30am-2.30pm January 19th and 26th and February 2nd, 9th and 16th.
Venue: Unit 3, Ardath Road, Kings Norton B38 9PL
Tuesdays. 9.30am-2.00pm January 29th, February 5th, 12th and 26th, and March 5th
