Want to get outdoors more this year? Resolution for 2013 to get more exercise? Want to volunteer in your local area?

Lickey rangers run a conservation volunteer group every Tuesday at the Lickeys and other parks and nature reserves throughout the Northfield Constituency.

This attracts all ages right through from school leavers, unemployed to retired people.

All tools and training are supplied, no prior skills and knowledge are necessary.

Meet at Lickey Hills Visitor Centre, Warren Lane, B45 8ER every Tuesday 10am till 2pm.

Wear strong boots preferably with steel toe caps, old clothes and waterproofs.

Learn a wide range of skills such as hedgelaying, tree felling, step, bridge and fence construction, surveying and plenty more.
