West Midlands Police have adopted a song video written and recorded by young people from Kings Norton as a tool to help prevent cyberbullying.
Over the summer the young people attended workshops on cyberbullying run by 3 Estates Youth Project and Catch 22. They worked with Loudmouth Theatre Group before writing lyrics and recording the song and video for ‘Make a Stand’.
West Midlands Police have launched the video as part of their Online Safety Week Campaign today. You can send the experts questions on online safety, including fraud and cyberbullying, to @wmpolice on twitter and follow the conversation on the #onlinesafety hashtag. Read more on the campaign on the West Midlands Police website.
We think the video is great and that the young people and all involved should be proud of their inspirational work!
