Coaches from Kings Norton Rugby Club are seeking youngsters aged between 5 to 18 years to join their Rhinos teams.

Boys and girls of all ages are being invited to participate in multiskills training, tag rugby and (for the older groups!) full contact rugby.

A great way to keep fit and make new friends, training takes place on Sunday mornings from 10am at the club’s grounds in Ash Lane, Hopwood.

A party of delegates from Kings Norton Rugby Football Club were invited to this years Bournville College Enrichment day where they promoted
Rugby Football and Kings Norton RFC and their Rhinos Junior section to the students at the College, showing them what is on offer in the local community.

Jim Williams, the club’s Volunteer Manager and Safeguarding Officer, said thanks to club members and players, Pat Dalley, Chris Cooksey, Ron Bunce, Peter Murphy, Jason Thomas, Matt Faulkner and Jamie Thomas for their help and support at the event.

The next promotional event for the Rhinos will be an open day at The Factory young people’s centre in Longbridge on the 26th October.

Go along to the Factory event to meet and see what the club have on offer, or pop down to Kings Norton Rugby Club, Ash Lane, Hopwood at 10am on any Sunday morning to find out more and join in!
