There will be a family Halloween Party in Northfield next Friday, with all proceeds going to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity.
The event is to raise funds for an adaptation to a special surgical microscope. The microscope is used by neurosurgeons during operations to remove brain tumours. Money raised will help purchase a fluorescence module, making it easier for surgeons to differentiate between healthy and cancerous brain tissue.
Fancy dress is optional for the event, but there will be a prize for the best adult and child costume
There will also be a raffle, an auction and dancing until 11.30pm
Event details: 7.30pm – 11.30pm, Friday 19th October at the CEM Club, 82 Quarry Lane, Northfield B31 2PY
