Hollymoor water tower

When Bournville College opened their new campus at Longbridge, the Hollymoor Centre in Northfield was made largely redundant.

Hollymoor Centre, Manor Park Grove, was originally the administration building for the now demolished psychiatric care facility Hollymoor Hospital and was opened in 1905.

In recent years, Bournville College occupied the building and it was used by their music department. Longbridge Childcare Strategy Group (LCSG), a charity which manages six childcare venues locally, also run an Alphabets pre-school nursery at the site.

Now the college has moved on, LCSG has taken over the building and want to encourage the local community to utilise the facilities they are providing.

Alongside the nursery, the Hollymoor Centre offers room hire including:

  • office space
  • recording studios
  • sound proof rehearsal rooms and
  • meeting rooms.

Prices start from £5 per hour, ideal for local business people, community groups, bands etc.

There is ample free car parking on site and a cafe, serving hot and cold snacks and drinks between 10am and 2pm on weekdays.

For more information on the facilities available or to book a room, contact LCGS at the Hollymoor Centre on 0121 683 7868
