Andy Ross, the former Frankley community worker from Kings Norton found guilty last week of child sex offences, has today been sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court.

Ross was found guilty of five charges by a jury last week and today His Honour Judge Carr sentenced him to 7 years in prison.

In addition, Ross will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely and has been banned from working with children for life.

  1. its a shame he didnt get a longer sentence specialy after pleading not guilty and putting that poor child though having to give evidence. thank god the jury had the sense to find him guilty
