A 38 year old woman will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning, accused of robbery.

The woman was arrested on Saturday (3rd March) following an investigation in to the robbery at the Spar store on Edgewood Road, Rednal on Saturday 25th February.

Cash and cigarettes were stolen when two people entered the store and allegedly threatened staff with an imitation firearm and an iron bar.

  1. What A shock to read about this robbery. I once lived in Ryde Park Road, four houses down from this shop (this was 11 yrs ago)and at that time and earlier, it was lovely, never any trouble. I wish I could turn the clock back to the early 90’s… But now things aren’t so good with the rise of the ‘chavs’.

Sorry if that isn’t ‘PC’, but it is true. Where I live now is very green and not far from the countryside, but we are over-run with these people who lack respect and can only cause hurt and harm either when in a gang and also attack the disabled or the elderly. Usually alone they are cowards.

It makes me so angry and it is is about time they were properly punished, not just given a slap on the wrist. And if they are tagged, it should be with a microchip.

It doesn’t matter where you live nowadays, the yobs get everywhere, like a nasty virus.

One day the decent people will revolt…
