West Midlands Police have arrested two men after a man suffered serious head injuries at  Masshouse Private Members Club on Sisefield Road in Walkers Heath on Saturday.

The 42 year old man is still in hospital in a critical but stable condition following the incident at around 1am on Saturday  (18th February).

A 25-year-old man was arrested and has been charged with section 18 wounding. He was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates this morning (Mon 20th February).

Last night a second man, aged 26, was also arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody where he continues to help police with their enquiries.

UPDATE 21st February: The second man has now been charged with grievous bodily harm and remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates this morning (21 Feb).
