Police have launched a murder enquiry after a man was found injured in the Druids Heath area of Birmingham yesterday afternoon (Sunday 12 February).
Officers were called to Larkhill Walk at around 2pm by the ambulance service.
A 23-year-old man was found in the street and was taken to hospital where he later died. He is not being identified at this stage.
A forensic post-mortem took place this morning and revealed that he died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest.
A 23-year-old was arrested in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody helping detectives with their enquiries.
An area of Larkhill Road has been cordoned off as well as an address in Stonehenge Croft.
