A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after he was in collision with a car in Birmingham.
The collision happened outside a charity shop near the junction of Bristol Road South and Rochester Road in the Northfield area.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene after a number of 999 emergency calls at about 5.20pm (Monday).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “When ambulance staff arrived they found a car that had damage to the bonnet and windscreen.
“The rider of the motorcycle, a 22 year old local man had suffered multiple injuries to his shoulder, pelvis and wrist.
“He was immobilised before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham on blue lights.
“The driver of the car, a man, was uninjured.”
