From West Midlands Police:

Wiltshire Police are increasingly concerned regarding the safety and welfare of Sam Theobald Brown, aged 21, from Swindon.

Sam was last seen at approximately 11am on Monday 9th January 2012 at Swindon train station where he boarded a train to Bristol. However, it is now believed that he is in Birmingham.

He is described as white, 6′ tall, of stocky build, with short dark hair. When last seen he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a navy ‘Superdry’ jumper with yellow writing and blue trainers.

Detective Sergeant Emma Spooner, said: “A number of officers are involved in the search for Sam and all possible sightings of him are being investigated. However, so far attempts to locate him have proved unsuccessful and as a result we are treating Sam as a high risk missing person.

I would therefore like to take this opportunity to appeal for help from the public in order to find Sam. Anyone who believes they may know his whereabouts should contact police or Crimestoppers immediately.

I would also like to take this opportunity to appeal directly to Sam and ask him to make contact with his family or police to let us know that he is okay. His family are extremely worried about him and I would like to stress that he is not in any trouble.”

Anyone with information should contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information may be left anonymously if preferred.
