Stolen: 18ct gold Omega watch

West Midlands Police have released images of items stolen from a house in Kings Norton in a bid to recover the items.

The burglary from a property on Midhurst Road happened between Sunday 1 and Wednesday 4 January 2012.

A number of items were stolen, including a unique 18ct gold Omega watch and a Bestecke SBS Solingen 90 piece silver cutlery set stored in a leather briefcase.

PC William Clough, from Bournville police station, said: “Amongst the stolen items, the watch and cutlery set are of particular sentimental value to the homeowners. Losing these items has caused a great deal of distress to the victims.

“We are working very hard to try and locate the items, but enquiries so far have proved fruitless.

“We hope that by releasing these images, members of the public may be able to help us recover the property and bring those involved to justice.”

Anyone who has seen the watch or canteen call PC William Clough on 101 or alternatively speak anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
