From West Mercia Police:

Police investigating a series of car key burglaries in North Worcestershire have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to.

The CCTV images relate to a burglary at a house in Hewell Road, Barnt Green, between 10.40am and 12.50pm on Thursday 21 July.

A side gate was forced and a rear door jemmied.

An untidy search of the house was made, but the only things taken were bank and credit cards, a driving licence and vehicle documents.

DS Ed Slough of West Mercia Police said: “We have had a number of car key burglaries in the North Worcestershire area and we believe that in this case the offenders were targeting the Mercedes parked on the drive. However they were unable to find the keys to it, and left without anything of great value.

“The images of the men caught on CCTV are quite clear and they are distinctively dressed, so we are hoping someone will recognise them.”

All of the men are white and wearing baseball caps.

One man was wearing a long sleeved v-necked stripy top with a white t-shirt underneath, dark coloured casual trousers or jeans, and white trainers.

One of the others wore a round-necked stripy top with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, dark trousers and dark shoes, and a baseball cap.

A third man was wearing a white jacket, dark trousers, and white trainers.

They were using a dark coloured Volvo XC90.

Anyone who recognises the images are asked to contact DS Slough on 0300 333 3000 quoting incident 109-n-210711, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
