West Mercia Police have today named the man killed in a two car collision in Cofton Hackett / Barnt Green on Saturday 4th November.
James Ansell, 31, was from Cofton Hackett. He died at the scene when the blue Peugeot 206 he was driving was in collision with an orange Volkswagen Beetle in Kendal End Road in Cofton Hackett just after 11pm on Friday, 4 November.
The female driver of the Beetle and her male passenger are both still in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and are in a stable condition.
Sergeant Steve Hastie said: “This is a tragic event and our thoughts are with the dead man’s family and friends at this time.”
An inquest has been opened and adjourned by the Worcestershire Coroner today.
