Birmingham City Council chief executive, Stephen Hughes is to participate in a live web chat this afternoon.

The session is part of the council’s public consultation regarding their proposed budget cuts for 2012/2013.

The consultation, which ends in January 2012, is aiming to gather opinions of Birmingham residents before final budget reduction plans are announced.

Anyone wishing to make their views known or to ask Stephen any questions about the budget-setting for 2012/13 is invited to take part.

The chat will take place between 2.15 adn 3.15pm this afternoon (Thursday 27th October). Time is limited, so as many points as possible will be covered.

Once the chat goes live, we will endeavour to embed it in this post – if you don’t see the embedded chat, you can access it via the BCC Newsroom site
