A warm sunny summer afternoon contributed to the success of the 25th Northfield Carnival on Victoria Common on Saturday.

Local people flocked to the park to enjoy entertainment, stalls and fun and games in the sun.

The carnival prince and princess opened the event, where carnival goers enjoyed sheepdog demonstrations, belly dancers, Irish dancers and more.

Northfield Arts Forum members held poetry workshops, performances from young musicians schooled at the Roadhouse, Stirchley and spread the word about what they do.

Congratulations to all involved for a fantastic day!

We took a video and a few pictures during our (all too brief!) visit. If you have any you’d like to share, please email sas@b31.org.uk
