Police in Birmingham have appealed for help in tracing a man who has been missing since Wednesday morning.

Fifty-seven year old David Davis has not been seen since he left his home in Bristol Road South, Rednal at around 1050 hrs on Wednesday 6 July.

David’s family and police are eager to trace him or have contact from him to reassure them of his safety.

David is described as being of dark European appearance, 5’2 and slim with short greying hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was clean shaven and wearing light beige tracksuit bottoms with drawstring ankles, a bright blue tracksuit top and black Reebok trainers. He does not have access to a car.

DI Jim Foy from Birmingham South Police said: “We are concerned that David hasn’t been seen since Wednesday morning and hasn’t made any contact with family. We are conducting enquiries but would like to appeal for David himself to let us know he is safe and well or anyone who may know where he is to contact police at Bournville Lane police station on 0345 113 5000.”
