Two people have been arrested by police investigating an incident in which attempts were allegedly made to run a car off the road between Bromsgrove and Rubery.

It happened on the A38 between the M5 island at Lydiate Ash and Great Park, Rubery, at around 3.45pm on Saturday 21st May and involved a burgundy red Land Rover Discovery and a black Volkswagen Golf.

It is alleged the Land Rover, containing a man and a woman, drove very close to the rear of the car, which contained a woman and a teenage girl, tried to force it off the road, and clipped wing mirrors.

The occupants of the vehicles are known to each other.

A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and have been released on police bail until 10th July.
