Press release from West Mercia Police:

Police are appealing for information after a vehicle which had been damaged in a collision was stolen.

It was taken from Beacon Hill in Rednal, between 1.55am on Monday, 6 June and 10.40am on Tuesday, 21 June.

The silver Ford Focus, registration number T112 BVV, had ended up in a ditch near to the Licky Hills car park and had been left nearby until it could be recovered.

The vehicle was worth £1000.

Checks carried out to see if the council had removed the vehicle have proved negative.

Anyone who saw the vehicle being towed away or being loaded onto a low loader should contact West Mercia Police on 0300 333 3000 quoting incident 85-N-210611 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
