Frankley had a yearly carnival for a number of years after the new estate was built there, but unfortunately it eventually stopped.
On Sunday 28th August 201, thanks to a host of volunteers including residents, local community groups, local police and parish and city councillors, the Frankley Carnival will return!
If you’d like to help get the carnival back up and running, you can attend the next public meeting which is on Wednesday June 15th at 7.15pm at Frogmill Community Centre, Wareham Road, Frankley.
Everyone is welcome so if you have a useful skill, ideas or just want to volunteer to help out, go along!
For more information, visit the Frankley Carnival website where you can also submit your memories and photos of past events
