A murder investigation is under way after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham.
Police were called to Maple Road in Rubery at around 6.15pm on Friday where the victim was wounded. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he later died.
Police have not yet named the man but said a post-mortem examination would take place in due course.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “The incident is being treated as a murder investigation.
“A post-mortem examination is being arranged.
“Two people were quickly arrested in connection with the incident and are assisting police with their inquiries.”
