The victim, a man in his forties as yet unnamed by West Mercia Police, was discovered with a serious leg injury in a flat on Maple Road, Rubery at around 6pm on Friday 24th March. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital but died at around 7.30pm.
Two men were arrested shortly after the incident but only one has so far been charged.

West Mercia Police had a lot to deal with on Friday as they also had to close the A38 through Rubery between 5.30 and 7.30pm, while they tried to talk down a man with a rope tied around his neck on the bridge at Callowbridge Road.
