Colmers School in Rednal really need your votes to help them stay in with a chance of winning £25,000 of Dell technology equipment. Dell’s Connect Your Classroom competition has seen entries from 52 schools around the country, all producing videos demonstrating the value of technology.
Over the last twelve months a total of twenty-four laptops have been stolen from the school and the school need to replace them to enable students to reach their full potential.
Seven pupils, selected for their excellence in drama, worked on the project to make the video, showing how technology is put to great use at the school and helps pupils across the whole curriculum.
Year 8 pupil, Bethan Johnson said, “It was a lot of fun making the video and we hope it helps our school.”
In the first round of public voting, schools need to win a place in the top ten to be in with a chance of going through to the final round of voting.
Voting for the first round ends at midnight on Tuesday 29th March. You can vote once a day, so if you’re quick can still get in two votes to help Colmers through!
