West Midlands Police trying to trace a man missing from a Rubery mental health clinic are appealing to the public for information about his possible whereabouts.
Thirty-two year old Hussain Saeed Al-Mutlaq, a Saudi Arabian national, had been detained under the Mental Health Act and was under strict conditions to remain at Reaside Clinic in Rubery, Birmingham for treatment. He was last seen by clinic staff on Saturday 20th November and needs medication for his mental health issues.
Several lines of inquiry are being pursued, but West Midlands Police are asking the public if they have information about his whereabouts or have seen him since he left the clinic.
Mr Al-Mutlaq is described as an Arabic male, approximately five feet seven inches tall, with a medium build, short black shaven hair and a goatee beard. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, cream jumper, black jeans and white trainers.
If you see Mr Al-Mutlaq, or someone matching his description, you are advised not to approach him but to contact police immediately by dialling 999.
